Caldwell County Continues Ambulance Service with ComCare; Declares Surplus Vehicles

Caldwell County advanced life support ambulance services will continue with the same company following decision by the fiscal court.
During a meeting Tuesday morning Judge-Executive Larry Curling detailed the contract renewal for county wide ambulance services.

The contract with ComCare, Inc. was then unanimously approved following a motion and a second.
In other business Judge Curling also suggested several county vehicles be declared surplus.

He added the sheriff’s vehicles include a 2013 Chevy Tahoe, a 2007 Ford Explorer, and a 2006 Ford Expedition while the recycle center’s surplus vehicle is a 1993 Freightliner semi.

After a motion and a second the court unanimously declared the vehicles surplus.
