Caldwell County Reports 56th COVID-19 Case

For the second time in one day Caldwell County is reporting another coronavirus case.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Tuesday afternoon the county’s 56th case. He added it involves a 55-year-old female who is isolated at home.
The case joins an earlier announcement Tuesday morning of the county’s 55th case, which involves a 54-year-old male who is isolated at home. Both cases now bring the county’s active case total to seven, with six of those isolated at home and one hospitalized.
According to the Pennyrile District Health Department the county’s remaining 49 cases have recovered.
