Caldwell County Bureau Now Providing Free Public Wi-Fi Hotspot

Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) locations throughout the state have activated free, public Wi-Fi internet signals to help Kentuckians remain connected where broadband availability is weak or nonexistent.
Caldwell County Farm Bureau Agent James Boone says Wi-Fi is now available at 155 locations throughout the state, with plans to make that same signal available at KFB’s remaining 42 locations over the next several weeks.

He adds the free Wi-Fi is a service KFB felt lead to do statewide noticing there are many rural broadband issues facing Kentuckians.

Boone states it’s super easy to get connected once parked at a KFB location.

He notes the KFB location in Lyon County is currently one of the remaining offices that isn’t up and running just yet.

The Wi-Fi network, KFBFreeWiFi, will be available daily from 7AM until 10PM and signs identifying parking spots where the Wi-Fi signals are strongest will be placed at all KFB’s offices. No online registration is required and you do not have to be a KFB member to utilize services.
