Three Caldwell County FFA Members Will Compete in National Convention

Three members of the Caldwell County FFA Chapter have been named national finalists and will compete for several prestigious awards, including American Star, in October.
The Caldwell County High School Agriculture Department states Hannah York, Dylan Adams, and Colton George were announced as national finalists in their respective categories in August and add Reagan Murphy and Madison Mason also placed highly in the national FFA standings.



According to the Ag Department Hannah York was one of four chosen from thousands of applicants nationwide to compete for the American Star in Agribusiness, while Dylan Adams was named a National Proficiency Finalist in Wildlife Management, and Colton George was named a National Proficiency Finalist in Diversified Crop Placement. Reagan Murphy received a gold rating in Ag Mechanics Repair and Maintenance and Madison Mason received a National Proficiency Honorable Mention in Ag Processing.


School officials note Hannah York, Dylan Adams, and Colton George, will now go on to compete at the convention October 27th through 29th, which will be held virtually this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
