Secretary Adams Updates PADD on November General Election

Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams spoke to members of the Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD) Monday afternoon during their virtual meeting about the upcoming general election.
Adams started off his presentation by thanking Congress for passing funding that has allowed elections to run smoother this year.

Adams adds the same options you had to vote during the primary in June, will be available again for the November election.

If you choose to vote through absentee ballot, you can request one through 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5 at govoteky.com.

Adams adds you can also request to become a poll worker at govoteky.com.

Adams says all poll workers will be protected from COVID-19.

Due to the lack of poll workers this year, most counties will not have all polls open on Tuesday, November 3 for people to cast their ballots. Adams says, so far, Todd, McLean, and Campbell counties will have all polls open that day.
