A Princeton woman has been arrested on drug and theft related charges after being served a warrant on unrelated charges.
According to a Princeton Police report officers arrested 35-year-old Randi N. Essawi on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging her with failure to appear just after 11:30 Tuesday morning. The report indicates that a search of her person revealed Essawi was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and suspected stolen property.
The report notes the stolen property was found to be items that were reported stolen on Monday from a citizen on West Green Street in Princeton.
Essawi was subsequently charged with first degree possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property under $500 and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
