Kentucky 4-H Holding Photography Contest for 2021 Calendar

Children between the ages of 9 and 18 are being encouraged to enter a photography contest for a chance for their photo to be featured in the Kentucky 4-H Calendar.
Caldwell County 4-H Agent Rhonda Jewell says images submitted to the contest must represent Kentucky 4-H in some way, such as including the 4-H flag or even an action shot during 4-H livestock judging. She adds the contest is open to all within the age group regardless of their being a current 4-H member but all submissions must have a photo release on file and a simple enrollment form is required.
Jewell states the contest isn’t only a way to find images for the annual 4-H calendar it’s also a way to celebrate 4-H Week October 4th through 10th. She notes all submissions will be entered into a voting contest and winners will be announced during the unveiling of the 2021 calendar on December 1st. Submissions are due by October 1st and can be sent by email to kladams@uky.edu.
