A meeting of the Caldwell County Historical Society scheduled for next month has been canceled due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus.
Historical Society President Melissa Earnest says it is with deep regret they have decided to not hold their normal meeting on Thursday, October 1st due to the current health situation and limitations on in-person meetings and hopes all members understand as the community continues to navigate through this very interesting historical time. She adds members can find the latest information about the society on their Facebook page, Caldwell County, Kentucky Historical Society.
Earnest notes the society newsletter will be published as always, so society members will receive it as usual and is reminding any members who may have an article to submit for consideration to let the society’s secretary, Ginnie Oldham, know as she is the editor and publisher of the newsletter.
