Caldwell County Schools Holding Public Hearing for Proposed Tax Rates Monday

Caldwell County residents are being reminded of a public hearing next week for the proposed property taxes for the 2020-2021 school year.
Interim Superintendent Heath Cartwright says the public hearing will be held Monday evening at 6:45 in the Butler Alumni Auditorium in downtown Princeton. He adds the hearing is open for all in the community to raise any concerns they may have for the proposed property tax rates, which Cartwright outlined during a special called meeting September 2nd.

Cartwright has expressed his full confidence in school staff and administrators to provide high quality education while being able to keep tax rates the same as the 2019-2020 school year.
The public hearing will be held directly preceding the regular session Caldwell County Board of Education meeting, which is set to begin at 7PM.
For more information about the public hearing or the proposed tax rates you can contact the Caldwell County District Office at 270-365-8000.
