Caldwell County Reporting 9 New COVID-19 Cases, Including Infant

Caldwell County has reported nine new coronavirus cases, including that of an infant.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Monday afternoon the county’s 128th through 136th cases since the pandemic began in mid-March. He added the cases involve a 68-year-old male, 72-year-old female, 14-year-old male, 11-month-old male, 20-year-old female, 48-year-old female, 64-year-old female, 25-year-old female, and a 25-year-old male. Seven of Monday’s new cases are isolated at home while one is currently hospitalized and another is incarcerated. Information has not been released concerning which jail the case is in.
The Pennyrile District Health Department is expected to release updated active case numbers and recoveries across the five county district Friday.
