Caldwell County School Officials Say Sports Season Going Well But Still Asking for Public Patience

Officials with the Caldwell County School District say the current sports season is going as well as expected considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that sometimes leads to daily, and even hourly, changes.
High School Athletic Director Kim Farmer says this season’s current success is due in part to the entire coaching staff, who have been preparing for coronavirus related restrictions and guidelines all summer.

She adds other staff at the school district have also been central to keeping both student athletes and the public safe this season.

Farmer is continuing to ask for patience from the public during home games.

She is also encouraging community members to adhere to local and state health department guidelines to help slow the spread of the virus in order to make sure the season can continue.

School officials are also reminding community members that individual tickets will not be available at home games and only limited tickets will be available for away games.
All home football games will be streamed live here and broadcast at WPKY 103.3FM/1580AM and on the WPKY App for those unable to make it to the game. Most home boys and girls soccer and girls volleyball games will also be broadcast at WPKY 103.3FM/1580AM and on the WPKY App. Be sure to check YourSportsEdge.com for any and all schedule changes this season.
