Applications Available for Caldwell County 4-H Teen Council

Local youth in eighth through twelfth grades are being encouraged to join the Caldwell County 4-H Teen Council to learn leadership skills, meet new people, and form lasting friendships.
4-H Agent Rhonda Jewell says teens who join the council will experience several different leadership opportunities and have the chance to attend leadership retreats, participate in service projects, and meet like-minded teens throughout the entire state. She adds meetings are currently every third Tuesday of the month via Zoom while coronavirus related guidelines are in place, with in-person meetings at the Caldwell County High School to hopefully resume soon.

Jewell states membership for the Teen Council is open to all Caldwell County High School students who complete an application and return it by Wednesday, November 11th. She notes applications can be picked up at the Caldwell County Extension Office, which is located on US Highway 62 West in Princeton, at the Caldwell County High School Guidance Office, or on the Caldwell County 4-H Facebook page.
