Halloween Festivities to be Held at Princeton VFW Post 5595 and Veterans Home

The Princeton VFW Post 5595 and Veterans Home are inviting veterans and their families, as well as children throughout the community, to celebrate Halloween with them Saturday, October 31st.
Commander Mary Byard says they will hand out candy on Halloween from 3 until 6PM for all children in the community at the VFW post, which is located at 121 East Main Street in Princeton. She adds veterans and their families, as well as others within the community, are then invited to return beginning at 6PM to attend a fun night of live music and great fellowship.
Byard notes the J.B. Cats Band will begin performing at 7PM with a costume contest to be held at 10PM, with prizes given to the winners. She states they will be taking temperatures at the door and all who attend are being asked to wear facial coverings and observe social distancing when possible within the VFW post.
