The Caldwell County Board of Education is are seeking nominations for a minority parent representative to serve on the Superintendent Screening Committee.
Board of Education Secretary Melissa Presley, sent out a one-call to parents Monday morning saying the district voted last Friday for a parent representative. Now, she says they are looking for nominations for a minority parent to serve on the Superintendent Screening Committee.
Presley adds nominations will be accepted through 3:00 Tuesday afternoon and can be made by calling the Central Office.

Heath Cartwright has been serving as interim Superintendent since September 1st following the retirement of former Superintendent Nate Huggins. Cartwright will serve in the position until June 30th, 2021.
