Nurse Practitioner Issues Plea to Kentucky Residents

A Kentucky nurse practitioner is making a plea to residents as COVID-19 cases continue to climb across the state.
Katherine Rogers, who works with Norton Healthcare, said during the Tuesday COVID-19 news briefing, the increase in cases is very concerning.

Rogers added on average a person spread COVID-19 to more than three people.

Governor Andy Beshear confirmed 2,690 new COVID-19 cases and added this was the highest case number for a Tuesday. The state also confirmed 17 deaths, raising the death toll to 1,809, including a 90-year-old woman from Calloway County.
