Two COVID-Related Deaths Reported Tuesday in Caldwell County

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced two COVID-19 related deaths in Caldwell County Tuesday. The two deaths were among seven around the health department’s five-county district.
According to the health department’s report, the fatalities in Caldwell County included a 62-year old female and an 88-year old male. This brings the total COVID-related deaths in the county to 19 since the virus began earlier this year.
The health department reported the other deaths around its district included four females in Livingston County who were 45, 64, 94 and 100-years old and a 99-year old female in Lyon County.
Meanwhile, Caldwell County Judge-Executive Larry Curling told the News Edge seven new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the county Tuesday involving four males and three females. He says all of the cases are recovering at home and range in age from 17 to 66.
To date, 772 COVID cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County.
