Fifteen Total New COVID Cases Reported in Caldwell and Lyon Counties

Ten new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Caldwell County Wednesday, along with five in Lyon County.
According to the Pennyrile District Health Department, the cases in Caldwell County include six males and four females, who are all recovering at home and range in age from 19 to 96.
Since the pandemic began 782 cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County.
The health department also announced ten new cases in Livingston County on Wednesday, six in Trigg, five in Lyon, and one case in Crittenden County.
In addition to the daily COVID report, the health department also released its weekly COVID-19 case summary Wednesday, instead of Friday due to the Christmas holiday.
The summary shows 41 active coronavirus cases in Caldwell County, including four hospitalizations. There have been nineteen deaths linked to the virus and 171 recoveries.
In Lyon County, the summary shows 361 COVID cases have been confirmed. Of those, 82 cases are active and include three hospitalizations, 271 have recovered, and eight have been connected to the virus.
