Forty New COVID Cases Reported Over Holiday Period in Caldwell and Lyon Counties

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 109 new coronavirus cases around its five-county district were confirmed over the holiday weekend.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling tells the News Edge twenty-one of those cases were reported in Caldwell County. Nine cases were confirmed Thursday, four on Friday, two on Saturday, two on Sunday, and four new cases were reported on Monday.
According to Judge-Curling, the new cases include eleven females and ten males who are all recovering at home.
The health department reported 38 of the new cases were in Crittenden County, with nineteen each in Lyon and Trigg counties, and twelve in Livingston County.
