Lyon County had such a good response from those 70 and older who wanted to receive the Moderna COVID vaccination, officials had to close the gates at the park in Eddyville around 9:00 Wednesday morning.

Officials at the health department also announced around 9:00 Wednesday morning they had such a great response to the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic they are currently out at the Crittenden County Health Center. Officials said they will receive more vaccines next week and apologized for the inconvenience.
Officials with the Pennyrile District Health Department say the COVID vaccine clinics scheduled in Caldwell, Crittenden, and Lyon counties for Thursday are cancelled in these counties. Health officials add they will announce through media and Facebook when the health department receives more vaccine from the state.
