Two COVID-Related Deaths Reported In Caldwell County

Two COVID-related deaths and seventeen new cases were reported in Caldwell County Thursday.
Officials with the Pennyrile District Health Department say a 66-year old female and an 84-year old male who was infected with the virus have died. Officials did not indicate whether they had underlying health conditions.
In addition to the deaths, Judge-Executive Larry Curling told the News Edge the new cases included eight males and nine females ranging in age from 7 to 79. He says all of the cases are recovering at home.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, 857 people in Caldwell County have been infected with the virus.
