State Positivity Remains Above 12 Percent Sunday

Kentucky’s positivity rate remained above 12 percent through the weekend, with the state adding more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases Sunday.

Governor Andy Beshear reported Sunday there were 3,232 new COVID-19 cases and 25 new COVID related deaths. He said the positivity rate was 12.45 percent, which amounts to the highest positivity rate since May.
Beshear reported 1,713 hospitalizations, with 380 patients currently in the ICU, and 212 patients on ventilators.
Kentucky surpassed the 300,000 case mark Saturday, with the state now reporting 2,901 deaths.
