Fiscal Court Hears COVID Vaccine Update, Approves WCA Contract

Caldwell County Fiscal Court magistrates approved a trash contract with Waste Corporation of America (WCA), a new road supervisor for the county, and heard an update regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.
During Judge-Executive Larry Curling’s comments, he thanked everyone for their efforts at the Caldwell County Health Department last Wednesday to get those 70 and older vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine. He said 210 people were vaccinated.
According to Judge Curling, the county’s problem is receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
