Man Charged After Pursuit Reaches Speeds Up To 150

A Tennessee man was charged after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a high-speed pursuit in Kentucky Friday morning.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say Bill Bell Jr., of Gallatin fled from Marshall County law enforcement on Interstate 24  crossing into Trigg County. Bell allegedly fled at speeds of up to 150 MPH traveling into Tennessee before his car ran out of gas around Exit 4.
Deputies say Bell failed to put his car in park and it struck a Trigg County Sheriff’s vehicle causing minor damage.
Bell was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, reckless driving, and criminal mischief. He was also arrested on numerous charges in Tennessee for traffic violations and a felony aggravated assault charge.
