Caldwell County Surpassed 900 Total COVID Cases Thursday

Seven new COVID-19 cases were announced in Caldwell County Thursday afternoon, pushing the total coronavirus cases since the pandemic began to 904.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling tells the News Edge the latest cases are all recovering at home and include six females and one male, ages 27 to 76.
In addition to the new cases in Caldwell County, the Pennyrile District Health Department announced 24 cases in the other four counties in its district along and ten COVID-related deaths.
Of the ten deaths, the health department reported eight were in Crittenden County and occurred between December 28 and January 7, one was in Lyon County on December 27, and the other death was in Livingston County on December 8.
The new COVID-19 cases in the district included ten in Trigg County, five cases each in Crittenden and Livingston counties, and three in Lyon County.
