More Than 3,000 New COVID Cases Reported Saturday

Kentucky logged more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, with the state’s positivity rate still well above 11 percent.

Governor Andy Beshear reported 3,096 new cases and 32 new deaths Saturday afternoon. The state’s positivity rate was at 11.74 percent Saturday. He adds 1,631 people remain hospitalized, with 408 people in intensive care units, and 214 currently on a ventilator. The state has reported a total 3,093 deaths since the pandemic hit Kentucky in March 2020.
