Princeton Couple Wanted In Hopkins County Burglary Arrested

A Princeton couple being sought in connection to a burglary in Hopkins County earlier this month was arrested Monday.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office was looking for 36-year old Brian Rice and 26-year old Telsa Scott in connection to a residential burglary on January 5th.
Sheriff Matt Sanderson told the News Edge their investigation found that Rick and Scott were in a vehicle in the area at the time of the crime. A deputy later found the vehicle at a business, along with the couple. He said the couple was released while deputies seized the vehicle and obtained a search warrant.
Sheriff Sanderson said when deputies searched the vehicle they found the stolen property from the residential burglary and issued arrest warrants for Rick and Scott.
Rick and Scott were taken into custody Monday and booked into the Hopkins County Jail charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000. The couple was released Tuesday after posting bond.
