Police report a Lyon County man was charged with possessing meth after officers responded to a complaint of a fight in progress at a Princeton motel Tuesday night.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to the American Inn located at 112 U.S. 62 around 6:30 p.m. When officers arrived they made contact with 23-year old Aliz’ Juan Redd-Pierce, of Kuttawa, who was exiting the hotel room of the complaint.
During the investigation, Allison says Redd-Pierce was found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth.
