Road conditions have improved in Lyon County today thanks to some sunshine and the continuing hard work of road crews.
As of mid-afternoon, Sheriff Brent White tells the News Edge says progress was made on improving the road conditions today due to better weather conditions and the road crews continuing to work to clear ice and snow.
Unfortunately, he adds there were several wrecks on Interstate 24 earlier today which caused some traffic delays.
Sheriff White says there have been no major wrecks and it’s been a good day with road crews making improvements to the roads.
He adds the roads should be in good shape for the next weather event.
