The Lyon County Water District issued a Boil Water Advisory for a large portion of its customers Wednesday morning.
According to officials with the Water District, the advisory begins at Hammonds Road on State Route 93 North to Highway 62 West along with customers south and west of Hammonds Road to Barkley Dam. Officials say this includes Poplar Creek Road, State Route 810 North, State Route 810 South, Highway 62 West, and all roads leading off of these highways. The boil water advisory also includes customers who live south or west of Highway 93 North.
