Deputies have released the names of three people from Florida that were injured in a wreck on Interstate 24 Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a tractor-trailer driven by Ray Carrazana of Lake Worth, Florida, was stopped in the eastbound lanes due to traffic when he was hit by a truck driven by Cory Weibe of Osteen that was pulling a trailer and an SUV.
Another tractor-trailer driven by Rahul Rajpoot then hit the truck pinning Osteen and his passengers Claud Carter and Andrea Weibe inside the truck. All three people were extricated from the vehicle by the Christian County Rescue Team.
Cory Weibe and Claud Carter were reportedly taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and Andrea Weibe was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with severe injuries
The crash happened just after 9 am.
