Airport Board Moving Forward With Purchase Of 50-Acres After Environmental Study

The Princeton-Caldwell County Airport is moving forward with a 50-acre obstruction removal after an environmental study came back in the airport’s favor.
City councilman and airport board member, Jim Joiner gave an update at the City Council meeting Monday night. He said the study involved a possible bat habitat and was conducted by a professor and students from Murray State University who walked the 50-acres.

In addition, Joiner said they have applied for funds from the CARES Act.
