Kentucky Adds More Than 500 New COVID-19 Cases

Kentucky added more than 500 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday afternoon, with the state positivity rate inching up slightly from Saturday.

According to the daily COVID-19 report from Governor Andy Beshear Kentucky recorded 526 new COVID-19 cases Sunday. The state positivity rate rose slightly from 4 percent Saturday to 4.12 percent Sunday. Beshear says there are currently 558 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 156 people in the intensive care unit, and 82 on a ventilator.
Kentucky recorded twelve new COVID-19 deaths Sunday which advances the death toll to 4,819.
