Caldwell Sheriff’s Office Assists With Investigation Into Synthetic Marijuana Edibles

The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office assisted in a multi-agency investigation Thursday after several boxes were reportedly found at the Princeton Post Office containing illegal contraband.
According to Chief Deputy Chris Noel, the multi-agency task force determined the illegal contraband was to be delivered to a home in Hopkins County. He says agents searched multiple homes in Hopkins County and located items linking multiple suspects to items from the Princeton Post Office.
Chief Noel says investigators stated the packages contained approximately 150 pounds of synthetic marijuana/edibles.
No information about the suspects has been released at this time.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Madisonville/Hopkins County Vice/Narcotic Unit, FBI, U.S. Post Inspector, and Kentucky State Police in the investigation.
