Cadiz-Trigg County and surrounding communities are coming together to honor the memory of a well-known craftsman who passed away earlier this week.
A GoFundMe account has been established for the family of Josh Wadlington, who passed away Monday at Trigg County Hospital. Reports to the News Edge indicate Josh passed away following an accident that occurred late Monday morning at T.W. Lumber that is owned by Josh and his father, Tim Wadlington. Trigg County Deputy Coroner Matthew Phillips told the News Edge Wadlington passed away due to natural causes.
Josh was known through the community and region as a master artisan in woodworking. He has crafted numerous uniquely styled tables, bars, benches, and other items for several individuals and businesses around the area. Among the businesses are the Harper House and Triplets BBQ, Edge Media Group, and many others.
The GoFundMe account was established to show love and support to his wife, Ireland, and their four boys. The fund was established Tuesday with a goal of $25,000 and has already raised more than $23,000 as of Wednesday morning.
Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz is handling funeral arrangements for Josh Wadlington.
