As of Friday, the Pennyrile District Health Department’s weekly summary shows there were 22 active COVID-19 cases in Caldwell County including one case in the hospital.
According to the summary, 1,191 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Caldwell County since the pandemic began, with 1,142 recoveries and 27 deaths.
The health department also reported 27 of the 48 current active COVID cases in Lyon County are inmates and 21 are civilians. There has been a total of 1,526 confirmed cases in Lyon County, 1,460 recoveries, and eighteen deaths.
