Two New COVID Cases Reported in Caldwell County Tuesday

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced thirteen new coronavirus cases and one death around its five-county district Tuesday.
The health department reported two new cases in Caldwell County involving two females, ages 49 and 59, who are recovering at home. Since the pandemic began over a year ago a total of 1,198 COVID-19 cases has been confirmed in the county.
According to the health department, there were two new cases and one death confirmed in Trigg County. Officials reported a 69-year old male infected with the virus passed away on March 16.
Elsewhere around the district, seven new cases of the virus were confirmed in Livingston County, with Lyon and Crittenden counties reporting one case.
