Pennyrile District Health COVID-19 Case Summary As Of Friday

The Pennyrile District Health Department reported a total of 99 active coronavirus cases around its five-county district as of mid-day Friday.
According to the Pennyrile District’s COVID-19 case summary, Caldwell County has the fewest number of active cases in the district with eight, including two in the hospital. To date, 1,206 total cases have been confirmed, 1,171 have recovered and 27 deaths have been connected to the virus.
While Caldwell has the fewest number of active cases, the summary shows Trigg County has the most in the five-county district. As of Friday, the health department reported 42 active cases with two of those hospitalized. A total of 1,221 cases have been confirmed, 1,169 have recovered and ten cases infected with the virus have died.
The report shows twenty active cases in Crittenden County, sixteen in Lyon, and thirteen cases in Livingston County including two hospitalizations.
