Caney Fork Road in Crittenden County has reopened to traffic.
Last week, Judge-Executive Perry Newcom announced Caney Fork Road near Nunn Switch Road was closed due to a drain tile failure.
Judge Newcom announced Monday afternoon the road had reopened to through traffic after the county was able to get a replacement drain tile sooner than anticipated and get the project completed.
Judge Newcom also announced that next Tuesday, the county will be closing a section of Weldon Road between Highway 641 and Coleman Road for major repair work. He points out this will not affect homeowners in the area, only through traffic. He says detour signs will be posted, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
