“Migrate Princeton” Official Unveiling Set for Earth Day

Princeton’s Farmers Bank, George Coon Public Library and Create Princeton are about to officially unveil their highly-anticipated collaboration “Migrate Princeton”.
Over the last few months, the project truly brought a community together as art, literature, and education were placed front and center, as were community members and leaders of all ages. The project has included everything from the “Senorita Mariposa Storywalk” which featured George Coon Public Library, and even a virtual educational video on butterflies and migration featuring Caldwell County’s 4H and Extension Office Agent Rhonda Jewell. Farmers Bank’s Ambassador Program Director and mentor Tiffany Massey tells the News Edge, “Migrate Princeton” started as an idea sparked from another art installation in Princeton.

Massey says the installation will include a large display.

With such a diverse grouping, Massey says the project and installation will be special and represent the entire community.

Massey and the Ambassadors are excited to watch as the butterflies truly “migrate” around the city of Princeton.

Migrate Princeton” Art Installation will officially be presented to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Earth Day this Thursday. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony at 5:30 pm in downtown Princeton at the corner of Main Street and 293 South.
