A man and woman were injured when an ATV crashed into a tree in Nortonville Friday night.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department reports deputies and emergency personnel were dispatched to Red Hill Road in Nortonville just before 8:00 after an ATV ran off the road and crashed into a tree, ejecting the driver and passenger.
According to deputies, the driver 35-year old Jacob Larkins, of Nortonville, was flown to a regional hospital for treatment of injuries and his passenger, 36-year old Nickie Watkins, also of Nortonville, was treated at the scene and released.
The sheriff’s department is continuing to investigate the crash.
