The Pennyrile District Health Department is now offering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to persons 12 and older at each of their local health departments, including Caldwell County.
Officials said the shots would be available every Tuesday in Caldwell County, every Wednesday in Lyon County, and every Thursday in Trigg and Crittenden counties. They added the vaccine clinics would run those days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Pfizer is a two-dose vaccine, with residents and out-of-town guests eligible to get a vaccine at any of their health departments. Officials added each health department would continue to offer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson and two-dose Moderna to persons 18 and older.
Walk-ins are welcome, but you can call your local health department or click here if you would like to make an appointment.
