The Pennyrile District Health Department reported eighteen active coronavirus cases around its five-county district as of Thursday morning.
According to the health department’s COVID-19 summary, five of those positive cases are in Caldwell County and are recovering at home. Since the pandemic began, 1,236 total cases have been confirmed in the county, 1,199 of those cases have recovered and 32 deaths have been linked to the virus.
The summary shows six current COVID-19 cases in Trigg County, three in Livingston County and three in Lyon County including one case that is hospitalized. Crittenden County reported one positive case in the county as of Thursday.
