Caldwell County Reports Six New COVID-19 Cases


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 26 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed around its five-county district since including six cases in Caldwell County.
According to the health department, the cases in Caldwell County are recovering at home and include five females and one male, ages 7 to 68.
The state’s COVID-19 Incidence Rate Map shows the increase of cases last week pushed Caldwell County back into the orange or accelerated of daily average cases per 100,000 population.
The health department also reported eight of the new cases are in Crittenden County, along with five cases each in Lyon and Trigg counties, and two in Livingston County.
