
With an increase of new coronavirus cases since the weekend, Livingston County has moved back into the accelerated group on the state’s COVID-19 incidence rate map.
The Pennyrile District Health Department reports 32 new cases of the virus have been confirmed since last Friday in Livingston County. All the cases are recovering at home and range in age from 1 to 79. The increase of COVID-19 cases has pushed the county into the accelerated or orange group on the state’s incidence rate map of average daily cases per 100,000 population.
The health department is also reporting four new COVID-19 cases in Caldwell County since Friday, along with one new case in Lyon County, two cases in Trigg County, and thirteen new cases in Crittenden County. All of the cases in those four counties are isolated at home.
According to the state’s incidence rate map, Caldwell County is now in the on-track or green group, which is with one average daily case per 100,000 population.
