The Pennyrile District Health Department announced three COVID-related deaths and 55 active cases of the virus across its five-county district as of Thursday morning.
The health department reported Wednesday afternoon the deaths involved a 96-year old female in Lyon County, a 57-year old male in Crittenden County, and a 66-year old male in Livingston County.
Of the 55 active cases, fourteen of those are in Caldwell County and include two hospitalizations.
Elsewhere, the health department reports ten active cases and two hospitalizations in Crittenden County along with ten active cases and four hospitalizations in Livingston County. Trigg County is reporting nine active cases and Lyon County has six cases. In Trigg and Lyon counties, all the cases are isolated at home with no hospitalizations at this time.
