Fifteen New Positive COVID Cases Reported In Caldwell County


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced fifteen new positive coronavirus cases were confirmed in Caldwell County Wednesday.
According to the health department, the latest cases in Caldwell County are isolated at home and involve nine males and six females ranging in age from nine months old to 80.
Lyon County reported nine new active COVID cases recovering at home involving five males and four females between the ages of three months and 72-years old.
Elsewhere around the health department’s five-county district, twelve new positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Crittenden County along with nine in Trigg County and four cases in Livingston County.
Governor Andy Beshear’s office reported 1,593 new coronavirus cases were confirmed across the state Wednesday. Kentucky’s positivity rate is 8.29%.
