Eight New COVID Cases Reported In Caldwell County


The Pennyrile District Health Department announced eight new active coronavirus cases in Caldwell County Tuesday.
The latest positive cases are recovering at home and include four males and four females. The health department did not release the ages of the new cases infected with the virus.
While Caldwell County remains in the “orange” or accelerated group on the state’s COVID-19 incidence rate map, the number of active COVID cases has continued to increase this week. The eight new cases reported in Caldwell County Tuesday afternoon come on the heels of the health department reporting 20 positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed from Saturday to Monday.
Elsewhere around the health department’s district, six new cases were reported in Trigg County Tuesday with five new cases in Livingston and three new cases each in Crittenden and Lyon counties.
