Law enforcement officials are asking for the community’s help locating a person of interest in a homicide investigation in Christian County.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 31-year-old Anthony Gaines is wanted for questioning in a double homicide on Peach Street that led to the death of 21-year-old George Gomez and 25-year-old Kiera Wallace.
They were reportedly found shot inside a home Saturday after a report of shots fired in the area around 8 am.
Gaines is also wanted on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, parole violation, theft by unlawful taking and failure to appear.
Anyone with information on Gaines’ whereabouts is asked to call the Hopkinsville Christian County dispatch at 270-890-1300.
Gaines is considered armed and dangerous.
