The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man and woman on warrants in unrelated incidents Saturday evening.
According to Chief Deputy Chris Noel, Deputy Josh Travis arrested 44-year old Kevin Hancock, of Marion, on a Hopkins County Circuit Court Warrant for failure to appear around 7:10 Saturday night. The failure to appear is for charges of fourth-degree assault, first-degree strangulation, third-degree terroristic threatening, and possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Shortly before 10:30 Saturday night, Deputy Chad Hawkins arrested 52-year old Amy Brown of Madisonville and served her a Webster County District Court Warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge by unlawful taking under $500.
Both subjects were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
