Caldwell County Reports 10 New COVID Cases Wednesday

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 32 new coronavirus cases around its five-county district Wednesday.
Ten of those cases were reported in Caldwell County. All of the COVID cases are isolated at home and include 6 females and 4 males ranging in age from 13 to 75. Two of these cases are 18 and under.
Elsewhere around the district, 12 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Trigg County, along with 5 cases in Livingston County, 4 cases in Lyon County, and 1 case in Crittenden County.
Statewide, Governor Andy Beshear announced 2,696 new cases on Wednesday and 51 deaths. The state’s positivity rate fell to 9.11%.
As of Wednesday, 2.72 million Kentuckians have received a COVID-19 vaccination.
